Religion:
I am an atheist, and my parents are both objectivists
so I also have Rand-ish
tendencies. While I
firmly believe that there is no such thing as a god/gods, I really don't
care if you do. Some people think that makes me agonistic, since they're
used to atheists who are totally rude, crusading butt thinkers, but these people would
be wrong. I'm definitely an atheist. I simply take a different view of things. As long as
it doesn't affect my life or impinge on my personal rights as a human
being, you can worship anything from your pet goat to the Flying
Spaghetti Monster. I don't care. Trust me, I have way
better things to do with my time then rant at you about God. Or the FSM. Though
you shouldn't take this to mean I'm terribly fond of theists. Generally
speaking, if you're a really serious Christian or Wiccan or what have you,
we're probably not going to get along too well. Sorry, but it's true. I'd love to
say I have oodles and oodles of friends who are of all different religious
beliefs, but in reality I don't. I have atheist friends. (Or friends who
are only very vaguely Christian) It's just a simple matter of
different interests and common ground. But that doesn't mean I won't talk
to you at all, or treat you with respect. =) Just that we probably won't ever be
super-close friends. Oh,
and by the way...if you're one of those people who think that atheists are
less trustworthy than your average criminal just because their ethics
aren't deity-based, don't talk to me. I promise that you will
regret it. The same goes for any atheist who has the audacity and outright
idiocy to say they have no morality because of a non-belief in a god/gods.
Not only are you are abusing the true meaning of the word morality through
stupidity and willful ignorance, you are giving the right-wing nutbrains
the material they need to accuse people like me of being ethically
bankrupt lunatics. I don't like people like you. I happen to have an
extremely strong set of values, morals, and ethics thank-you-very-much,
and I find anyone who says otherwise extremely offensive. |

Stalk Me at Your Leisure:
Gaia Online,
as Kurikins
The
Dead Robots' Society Forum, as AmandaCales
I'm a forum-goer at heart. Always have been, probably always will be.
Unfortunately I have a bad habit of seeking out forums, joining them, posting awesome
and interesting welcome messages, then realizing that 90% of the
conversation going on at said forum is inane babble, which leads to me
disappearing off the forums almost as soon as I've joined. So chances
are good you'll see me posting here or there, but my activity levels probably aren't all that high. So if you
want to meet me on a forum somewhere, it might take awhile before you
spot me.

Random Crap of Dubious
Importance:

From when I used to be a TPFer! That was a very, very long time ago. Granted, I wasn't a particularly well
liked TPFer, but I still had a lot of fun. For those of you who don't know
what a TPFer is, uh...well, email me about it and I'll explain.

The first award I ever won for my website! This thing is positively
ancient, and holds great sentimental value.

Random Crap of Dubious
Importance, cont.:

From Gaia. =D Thank you random stranger!
You're the only person who's ever given my outfit a 10/10 rating...my poor
outfit. I love it so. But no one else does.

From Kerrama Valley, an RPG I used to be a
part of until I was kicked out for speaking out against it's owner. I was
given this award for my portrayal of the evil (and insane) black panther,
Zelia Aurek.
