Amanda's Room - Rant Rolodex

I am a very opinionated person. I do a lot of thinking in my spare time and, being possessed of decent writing skills, I often feel the urge to write down my rants, rambles, and general ponderances in my various journals and diaries. These rants can be everything from spacey to angry to hilariously funny (or a dizzying combination of all three) and I thought it was only fair I started posting a few on my website. Also, I thought the idea of having a Rant Rolodex would be really cool because then I could index all my frustrations neatly and then simply say "Insert rant number ___ here" whenever upset so that any innocent bystanders don't have to endure the same rant over and over again on the commercial breaks of their favorite TV show. Because rants just aren't worth ranting about unless they're interrupting someone else's TV time. =D

And before you start seeking out the nearest prescription drug store to get yourself some pills to prevent hallucinations: YES, my rants are randomly numbered. There is no rhyme or reason to my numbering system what so ever. YES, I am doing this in an attempt to baffle you and seem cool in the process. Ain't life great? XD [insert maniacal bad guy laugh here] Taking over the world one tortured mind at a time.

I put a lot of love, time, and what is hopefully wit into my rants, so this page may not update very frequently. It takes me awhile to write up all my rants, especially since many of them come to me right before I fall asleep and shortly after I realize I forgot to put the notebook back next to my bed. But I'll try and keep them coming as fast as I'm able to. Be prepared for a goodly bit of reading--I can really go into windbag mode when I'm wound up about something, and being a fast typer just adds to the problem. ^_^
